I’m Alex, a photographer based in San Francisco, California, but available worldwide.

Growing up on the central coast, my early exploration influenced much of my work. I was always drawn to sunsets over the ocean or the summer-dry rolling hills in my backyard, and that’s evident today in my photos—which often feature warm, vibrant palettes. In recent years, my photos have reflected my time living in San Francisco, surrounded by Victorian architecture and the open spaces nearby.

My professional work extends beyond city life and includes commercial, hotel, wedding, and lifestyle photography. While each field requires a certain set of tools and experience, my approach remains the same as I always attempt to seek out life’s most authentic moments.

When I’m not looking through a viewfinder, I’m playing soccer with friends, traveling to surf or surfing to travel, perfecting my video skills, or just laying in the sun.

What camera gear do you use?

My go-to setup is currently all analog! Specifically a Pentax 645n & Minolta X570. I find that this combo is perfect for creating a “look” or “feeling” that I personally am naturally drawn towards. The analog workflow is extremely enjoyable to me and I appreciate how my images turn out almost every time.

I rely on my iPhone 15 Pro for the majority of my video projects. Many of my clients ask for Instagram Reels to share on their respective pages and the iPhone + Log format is ideally suited for crafting that type of content. This allows me to produce captivating and easily relatable clips that audiences find pleasant to watch.
